| Our
agency provides three services to make a transforming difference in the
lives of thousands of children and their families:
- Education for at-risk children and their families
- Therapy for troubled children and their families
- Sharing what we learn with other professionals and organizations
This third tenet of our mission, program-sharing, is
a really exciting way to reach many more young people than we could ever
serve directly. Salesmanship Club past president, Bob Ferguson, described
program-sharing as “leveraging our efforts for the greater good.”
This means SCYFC recognizes that no matter how effective our direct services
are, we can never serve the huge numbers of kids and families in need
of our therapeutic or educational services. Instead, we seek to join with
others in partnership to share and exchange ideas and practices. A big
way we share what we learn is through our research and evaluation reports
